Alex Iovita (Alexandru-Ionuț Ioviță) is a Romanian electronic music producer, DJ, and sonic storyteller whose work blends the hypnotic drive of melodic techno, the emotional textures of progressive house, and the high energy of trance. His music reflects a lifelong passion for sound, expression, and atmosphere—rooted in an early fascination with rhythm and melody that began in childhood.

Starting his production journey in 2011 as a self-taught artist, Alex experimented across genres including rock, punk, house, trance, and drum & bass, shaping a unique style guided not by trends but by raw emotion and storytelling. Over time, he has released more than a hundred tracks and remixes, building a steadily growing international audience through his deeply expressive and versatile sound.

A central pillar of his artistic identity is his weekly radio show, “Late Night Therapy,” where listeners are taken on immersive journeys that explore mood, rhythm, and discovery. With more than 150 episodes, the series has become a sanctuary for electronic music lovers, blending both underground gems and festival-ready anthems into cohesive, transformative sets.

Alex’s productions and DJ sets have earned recognition and support from respected names in the scene, including Joris Voorn and Laura van Dam, and his music has been featured on labels such as Syncopate Afterhours, Terranova, Natural Rhythm, Mustache Crew, Kazal Records, and Waldliebe Familien. He has also collaborated with artists including Horatio and delivered remixes such as his re-imagining of Jonnesay’s work.
